The uniqueness of Sarawak pottery attracts many foreign fans. Nobu Matsuike, who was in Kuching recently, admitted that whenever he comes here, he would make it a point to buy back a few pieces of pottery products, either for his own collection or as souvenirs.

“I love the traditional designs. I collect vases and jars from all over the world, but none as beautifully-crafted as Sarawak pottery.

Sarawak is famous for many things, but to me, pottery is still the number one product that the people of Sarawak should cherish and develop. Don’t ever let it become a dying trade,” said the Osaka-based retired college professor.

Matsuike, who has around 300 vases of various sizes, designs and origins in his ever-growing collection, also noticed how delighted his friends and associates were when he gave them ashtrays and mugs from Sarawak.

As Sarawakians, we ought to be proud that pottery, a seemingly simple cottage industry, has now become an irresistible piece of unique Sarawak, well-appreciated even beyond our shores.

My friend's wife just committed suicide.

She had been in tears for the past few months due to totally incompetent plus irresponsible doctors.

The women gave birth to a child, in a birth clinic, supposingly manned by a "professional", a gynecologist.

Supposingly the customers of that so-called "professional" gynecologist give birth at the hospital, they will have good care, for both mothers and babies. And the charges for such "professional service" is high too, over 30K, for the birth (and 2 day stay) alone !

So my friend has his wife enrolled into that clinic's program when the wife got pregnant, and had regular checkups (pay that "professional", of course), and by the time the wive was in labor, and had complication, that so-called "professional" gynecologist suddenly refused to be responsible !

Yeah, that's the attitude !!!!

What happened is, that baby was in the "wrong" position, so the wive can't gave birth lor (and funny thing is, that so-called "professional gynecologist" was never aware of that problem, even after the checkups, and ultra-sound and such !!!)

So, in a "professional birth clinic", that gynecologist supposed to be able to do Caesarian, right?

No !!!

At that time when the wive couldn't give birth due to "position problem", suddenly that "professional gynecologist" said his clinic "doesn't have the equipment to deal with that kind of problem" !!

WTF !! I mean, WTF !!!!

A "professional birth clinic" that charges A LOT OF MONEY, manned by "professional gynecologist", doesn't have the necessary equipment???

Then in the middle of the birth thing, that poor lady was sent to the GH in an ambulance !!!!

That extra time wasted caused the baby to be brain-damaged !

So the mother was like crying day in, day out for months, even after consulting with psychologists, taking medication, that poor mom was still crying her eyes out everyday.

Until just now, she committed suicide, jumping from a high building.

Damn the so-called "professional gynecologist" and that "professional birth clinic", man !

Damn them to hell !!!!

How come in this country still got so many shit doctors and scams that cheats people?

How come the gomen don't do anything?

How come the people always got to suffer?

How come???

I'm err, already consume 2 cans of Energy drink today, but i still feel tired. Sometimes when i consumed it , the thing works. So, i dunno really works or not >?? any food scientist here to explain ??

If i remember i once heard from my high school counselor told me that there's a case in Thailand where a bunch of elite student drank almost 6 cans of redbulls b4 the day of exam and they totally can't remember what they studied. It was said that the energy drink kills their brain cells. Is that true as well??

There are a few other women DJs but most of them are backroom DJs, they like to play only at their apartments.

You started DJing at 19. Didn't your parents want to find you a nice husband and see you married?
No. My parents have been very supportive; they let me do what I felt good doing.

How easy was it to be a woman DJ in a predominantly male domain?
It’s not easy at all! I love the competition. Me being a woman actually helps me feel what the crowd really wants. Women are more sensitive, you see.

Do people come to your gigs because of the novelty factor? After all, how many women DJs do you see around?
That does add to it as my playing style is completely different from how most men would play.

Do you have men coming up to you and making lewd remarks?
Not really... there are a few exceptions though. When you are in the DJ's cabin, they mostly look up at you...

Yes, of course... they like to groove around and I make them dance!
