hi all, im just buy a ps 3... bt i using normal hdmi cable... if i using dat ps 3 at player watch movie... why sound gt abit nt good, like gt a noise sound.. wen i plug media player also same... izit hdmi cable normal?? den wen i use rmvb media player using 5 cable dat sound better... any suggestion...

I am new to this thing, but I need to wire up wall-mounted speakers around my house so that music can be heard anywhere in the house.
I don't need stereo separation of the audio. Just for easy listening background music.
I plan to DIY. What components do I need (you can assume I am starting from scratch) and how do I wire all the speakers up (say 5 speakers in total)?

I got mine LCD tv last month, it was a Sharp 42A66M.
i feel like the image was overbright everytime on a bright image, example white colour.
i try not to tune so much of the brightness and contrast of the seting because loss of picture detail.
im now using a HDMI playing Xbox360, anyone has the same problem like me ?
any adjustment should i make ?

if not, i think i gonna call the technician come and check on it soon ....

need advice on LCD TV buying ..., pls commment ..!!!

Just wondering how many people using Aego M. Can also share your way of improving the sound quality. I heard some forumers changed the satellites with other brand.Please share.

I personally upgraded the interconnects and add a JBL centre speaker.

Maybe you guys can post pictures here.

I'm actually considering of buying either LG LH50 or LG LH70 series or Samsung B650 series. I've gone through numerous sites to get the info on those LCD TVs, the specifications, the price, the pros and cons and everything but still hard to make the decision. 1) Brand new Sharp AQUOS a66 42 inch arnd 4k i think
2} second hand Sony Bravia X series 40 inch 6k (used to be a display LCD set,old model)

Just came back from HK and bought some Home Theater magazines there.
Read that HK are now popular with DLNA Ethernet AV receiver thread, seem like every AV receiver has Ethernet port in it.
It can do online radio, online mp3 streaming and able to connecting to computer network and grap songs.

Wonder if Malaysia has DLNA Ethernet av receiver available yet?

Home Theater Set-up Advice,

Newbie enquiry - is it ok to swap front right and left speakers for back right and left ones? I have a basic home theater system and the front speakers come with a stand and are bigger than the back ones which are quite small.

I read somewhere that this might mess up my sound as the back speakers deal mainly with ambient noise?

Is this true?

To all AV SIFUs , would need your advice in terms of which AVR to buy .
Currently looking at these 3 AVRs:-
1) Marantz NR1501
2) Yamaha RX-V465
3) Pioneer VSX-819H

Actually budget not more than RM1900 for the AVR as I need to purchase speakers as well.
For now looking only to buy front left & right and center speakers. Sub will have to wait
As for speakers I'm currently looking at the PSB Alpha B1 (for left & right) and the PSB Alpha CLR1.

Do hope I can get some recommendations or advices

Need your advice.

Can I connect my Altec Lansing MX-5021 to an amplifier and so I need to buy 1 center speaker and 2 rear speaker only. I can save on 2 front speaker and 1 subwoofer.

Pls advice if this is possible?
