Hi all iphone fans,

This is my first review for Incase Slider Iphone 2g case. Please feel free to drop any commend here. Hope you all like it!

Iphone chrome top side without any scratch mark after removing back cover more than 10 times for docking.

Inside the case has 2 thin rubber pad to protect your Iphone from scratch for slide in and out.

Black mate compare with black gloss. Unfortunately white color is out of stock while i was in US.

Pro:
The build quality is good.
All button can be easily access, even my bro with a big thumb also dont have any problem accessing all button.
Have rubber pad to protect your Iphone from scratch.
The case is made of hard plastic, not easy to bend.

Con:
Expensive compare to other hard casing.

Remark:
Do not try to put your Invisible Shield together with Incase Slider casing. It is too tight!!! (i have tried it before.)
Make sure that your screen protector is cover within the glass part only (without cover the chrome part), because the case will damage your screen protector that cover the chrome part.

I found it quite confusing to the posts recently, as the setting, firmware and the methods of jailbreaking is quite difference for iphone Edge and iphone 3G.

So, should I suggest that any new topics should indicate if it is for [iPhoneEdge] or [iPhone3G]??

iSms previously for firmware 1.1.1 and 1.1.2, however it cant used at 1.1.3 firmware, as developer said it have certain risk. For deal iphone user, did anyone using isms in firmware 2.0.1? and can provide link where can get that latest isms? Come share here

Just a little knowledge sharing in the myriad of questions being posed in the forum.

Recently i had this problem of not being able to sync my iphone to my pc. imagine that, it had become a semi-brick, ( nice to use but cant sync music or videos through)

so i

i learnt the hard way,

i tried itunes 7.4 all the way up to 7.7... to no avail....searched up and down google and i came for to learn some of the tricks...

1) Open up the Add Remove Programs - Remove Itunes and all Itunes related programs, i.e Apple Mobile Support Device,
2) Open Task Manager - Delete all Itunes/Apple related programmes.
3) Open Program Files/Itunes - Delete Everything there.
4) Open C:\Documents and Settings\xxxxxx\My Documents\My Music\iTunes - delete this too
5) Switch off your iphone Wifi - x sure how it adds up but hey, we're desperate here.
6) Restart your Iphone - hold the top button for a few seconds and slide the bar to switch off. then turn it on again
7) Restart your Iphone again- This time hold the top and the Home button and wait for phone to restart. it may seem redundant but hey it works on my experience.

8)Download and Open up Itunes 7.7
9) Sync

p/s im using 1.1.4

No so good for those looking Non-contract iphone 3g.

BUT from FAQ

Network
1) Will the SIM be locked to SingTel?
The handset will be preset to the SingTel Network. Phones not connected to the SingTel network will not be supported by SingTel.

i follow the ways teached from the forum to upgrade the fw from 1.1.4 to 2.0.1, but fail, so i restore back to 1.1.4 but was not able to downgrade the modem firmware and it stick to 04.05.04_G (using iLiberty+).

now my phone dont have any carrier signal, cant call in and out but other function is working. i've try to fix the signal problem through iliberty but still the same

Ok...I search and cant find a solution to this stupid problem i'm having..

I just restored my phone and start anew because i switch to my laptop to do all the synching etc..
Anyway..when i sync my contacts inside..

I give an example..
My friend's name is Andrew Chu..
Last time he is under the Alphabet A because Andrew is bold..
But now the Chu word is bold instead...
And he is put under the alphabet C..
I've tried to terbalik the postiton of last name first name also i can't get it the way like before..

My desktop at home is using xp...adress book..
But my laptop is vista..using windows contacts..

SO does anybody have my problem??
