hi to all iphone users

i got problems, my mom bought an iphone from lowyat, usual shop lot
not from apple or maxis.

rm2000 iphone 3G 16gb confirmed by the seller it is original and new
my test it and everythings working fine.
however, after 2 days, the iphone cant turned on.
i tried to enter DFU mode, however after finish the steps, i noticed that there is multiple vertical fine line on the screen( a bit deem, need to carefully watch for it)
try to charge it for 1 whole day, not a single charge or apple logo come out

so forumers, plz help me:

1) What is wrong with the iphone ( never drop or drop to water )
2) In my case, cdo u think there is waranty from the shop? or perhaps apple? ( the seller told there is no hardware waranty coz said iphone had no waranty at all )

Help and piece of advice would be extremely appreciated

currently using iPhone 3G...n using SE IS800 Bluetooth...Unfortunately, the IS800 doesn't work very well, because it doesn't have volume control on it. The iPhone's volume control does not work when bluetooth stereo devices are being used...

... any solution on how you can't adjust the volume. The sound on the IS800 comes out too loud for me as it can not adjust when using iPod ...... helppppp

Dear all,

Wonder why forumer from lowyat.net can sell iPhone 3Gs 16GB with price higher than 2.5k while Maxis offer RM2,490 for non-contract 3Gs 16GB?

If there is a good price for iPhone 3Gs, i am planning to sign up Maxis plan and trade my 3Gs 16GB with 3G 16GB, then i will be saving few hundred.

What do you think? Any idea, please comment, thks!

Hi guys,

I just back from Australia, i am using an Iphone 3gs from Optus which i jailbreak-ed and unlocked with ultra-snow, i am successfully on Maxis network, i am able to make calls or whatsoever but just can't get on the 3g network nor EDGE, my status bar has no 3g nor EGDE icon. Anyone know what's the problem?

I am on firmware 3.1.2(7D11)..I jailbreak with the latest pawnage tool and ultrasnow to unlock.

Hi All,

I would like to find out if any of you that has come across a situation (like what I went thru).

I had an app update (JB-ed) on the 3GS, then the phone rebooted. There's only a white apple logo after you switch it on, then 5-10 seconds later, it goes dead.

I took it to the shop, and apparently, the chip on the motherboard is faulty. Any of you heard something similar that you could share your experience?

Apparently, repairs cost about RM300+

hye everyone...i just got my iphone 3gs yesterday. i've tried to jailbreak my iphone using blackrain. after i turned off my iphone and restart it, it goes to recovery screen. then i do blackrain again. now after several turning off and on my iphone, it stucked on the recovery screen, i tried to turn it off but it won't turn off no matter what. add to that, now my pc doesn't even recognized my iphone connected via usb. i'm freaking scared now. what to do?
