Hi everyone...

I have observed this share since it was up-lifted from PN-17 series; and was looking at its share price jumping up from 1.39 to 3 sth in few days time...

Performance for this week, i think not quite stable, sometime can increase 40 cents, 16 cents.... sometime dropped 15 cents some source like that...

So, any comment about this share? What should be the fair value and how much is the best buy price? I was about to enter this share at 2.3x (if given another chance); cause I have observed that if this share reach about 2.3x sure pumped up a lot in the next day...

Thank you for your comments and much appreciated.

Kossan (7153), Kossan still an outperform despite fire

As we are now in the final quarter of 2009, we roll forward our target price to end-2010. We think that the latest incident could dampen sentiment on the stock, along with the foreign hedging misstep. We, therefore, widen the discount to our 15 times target market price/earnings (P/E) from 20% to 40%. Our earnings changes led to an increase in our end-2010 target price from RM7.73 to RM8.13. We maintain our outperform recommendation based on the potential improvement in the group’s longer-term earnings.

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Outperform at RM5.03: A fire broke out at one of Kossan’s glove factories on Tuesday — Plant C at Perusahaan Getah Asas in Jeram, Selangor. This is negative news as it is the second fire in a year for the company. It could be disruptive for Kossan’s operations, earnings and potentially its reputation if the incident arose from negligence.

The company reassured us that it can claim from its insurer any damage to equipment or stocks. Kossan does not expect its shipments or delivery schedule to be significantly affected as it has a policy of keeping on average a 5% buffer of finished goods at all its factories to allow for changes or increase in orders by its customers.

Bad news aside, Kossan is scheduled to release its 3QFY09 results next week. If the recent results posted by other glove players are anything to go by, there is a high chance of similarly strong results from Kossan.

We estimate Kossan’s 3QFY09 core earnings to rise 12% quarter-on-quarter and almost double year-on-year to around RM29 million. This was supported by the company’s focus on innovative products and better-margin nitrile and powder-free gloves as well as a stronger pick-up for its technical rubber product division.

In 1H09, a total of RM24.7 million of foreign exchange losses were recognised. However, the US dollar has been depreciating and averaged RM3.52 in 3Q compared to RM3.55 in 2Q and RM3.63 in 1Q. This, in our view, will result in lower forex losses of around RM10 million for the quarter.

As the foreign currency hedging contract is due to expire at end-Nov and the exchange rate is hovering around RM3.37 currently, we expect even smaller forex losses for 4Q.

Source: http://www.theedgemalaysia.com/component/c...cle/153992.html

Good to start collecting now...RM4.84-RM4.9

[addedon]November 24, 2009, 11:12 am[/addedon]Quarterly report will be out by today....

Stock Market V.44, Warren Buffett say Go buy stock

QUOTE

The world's richest men say go buy stocks, global economic panic is over

Buy attractive stocks, they say

NEW YORK: Capitalism is still alive and well, say the world's two richest men, despite lingering shocks from the longest, deepest recession since the Great Depression.

"The financial panic is behind us," said famed investor Warren Buffett, who recently made what he called an "all-in wager" on the U.S. economy by acquiring railroad Burlington Northern Santa Fe.

"The bottom has come in stocks. Don't pass on something that's attractive today."

Sitting facing each other in an auditorium filled with nearly 1,000 cheering people at Columbia University in New York, the CEO of Berkshire Hathaway Inc. and Microsoft founder Bill Gates fielded questions from Columbia Business School students on the recession, investing and what's the next Microsoft.

There were at first reassurances that the U.S. economy had not collapsed since the last time the two sat in front of a student audience, in Nebraska in 2005.

"We proved that we can make mistakes," said Gates.

"But the fundamentals of the system, a marketplace-driven system where we invest in education and a great infrastructure for the long-term, that's continued."

Even in the country's "darkest hour," he said, American businesses were still innovating.

"Last fall was really blindsiding," Buffett said later.

Still, "I did not worry about the overall survival of our economy."

The worst recession since the 1930s may be over, but the recovery isn't expected to be strong enough to stem job losses and get businesses hiring again.

Employers shed a net total of 190,000 jobs in October, a government survey showed Thursday.

It was the 22nd straight month of losses.

And the unemployment rate jumped last month to 10.2 percent, a 26-year high.

Buffett also commended the Bush administration's actions last September, saying "only the government could have saved things" after the collapse of Lehman Brothers triggered a freeze-up in credit markets and panic on Wall Street.

In the future, however, Buffett said "there should be more downside to the head of any institution that has to go to the federal government to be saved for reasons of the greater society. And so far, we have been better at carrots and sticks in rewarding CEOs at the top. But I think some more sticks are called for."

The two endeared themselves to the audience with tips.

Buffett exhorted students to "marry the right person" and said, "The worst investment you can have is cash."

Gates, meanwhile, said he sees big opportunities in environmentally friendly energy and medicine.

"Capitalism is great," he said.

Gates wore a suit and tie, flashing the inner red lining of his jacket as he walked to his chair. Buffett, who earned a master's degree from Columbia in 1951, wore a sweater with the Columbia insignia.

Students in the audience said they were glad the two were so confident about the economy.

"That probably weighs a lot to a lot of people to hear Buffett say we're out of the crisis," said Andrea Basche, an Earth Institute student at Columbia. - AP

So don wait buy as many as you can

Hi , firstly the 2 stock I am going to discuss here is . GPACKET 0082 & YTLE 0009 .

I will be talkin about the fundamental theory for the reason why these 2 stocks are good for buy-and-hold , long term investment .

Firstly please view or perceive the share market as a market to buy some good business to own , instead of a place to make fast money or just some index numbers going up and down . That way you wouldn't be blinded by fear or greed when you INVEST . Notice I bold-ed the word invest because I see alot of people SPECULATING instead of investing , they pray or they think it will go up without proper self analysis or understanding of whats going on ..beside share price going up and down . So then they are taken by the ride going up and down , finally loses themself .

GPACKET 0082 & YTL-E

Wimax has been the latest hit around worldwide and especially in Malaysia , where people demand for connection even in rural area . They have a very good advantage agaisnt streamyx because its expensive for TMNET to install fibre cable to every part of malaysia , where as WIMAX is wireless and could be in coverage where the infrastructure is installed .

The rise of demand and the exposure of internet couldn't be doubt , its similiar to handphone . Handphone bloom-ed so fast and the demand for phone connection exploded , started with Maxis and soon followed by DIGI and CELCOM . Everyone own a handphone even school kids , sometimes not only one but three or more . Its happening same for the new era of people , I see people walking around carrying a laptop or macbook ... I am pretty sure you understand its a must to have connection when you own a pc .

No doubt , wireless connection will soon be a COMPLETE necessity . Its a vision fact that the connectivity and speed will improove better and better when competition is heating up . So you tell me if it would be a profitable business to own ?

But there are criteria for growth stock/business , they must have sustainable amount of money for the operation they will be carrying out for atleast 3 years . YTLE has no worries for that , GPacket is doing fine with all the money they accumulated , its sustainable for them to roll out their service .

I know GPACKET has been reporting lost for their reports , that is normal because if you are business man .. you would understand you will need to have money to be invested in expenses and operation before you can start generating profit . Focus on the statistic amount of people that are subscribing up for P1 wimax and their penetration into the market ! I believe I would see both GPACKET and YTLE dominating the internet connection market !

Eur/usd.
The daily chart. The Evropean currency breached the upper limit of the range of 1.4715 - 1.4877, and nearing the next resistance. Shopping in the breakout level of 1.4877 yielded profits. Sales may be trying to puncture the level of 1.4846. Place your order at 1.4846. Shopping can try to puncture the level 1.4995. Place your order over 1.4995. If you puts a warrant of penetration levels, put the protection of 30-40 points higher / lower from this level. Once the money was in your favor points 30 - 40, put your stop loss closer to the profits or take profit. You may have to use the tactics of re-entry.
