I upgraded to 4 mbps in January , then around 10th march 2010 , tm was upgrading lines to fibre optic (well thats what they told me when i called) , I am stuck with lines at a speed of 1.6mbps and when I tried to do test on speedometer , It gave me speed of 13mbps , and when I do at speedtest.net only get 1.6mbps , usually 3.5mbps before they upgrade.. Can anyone help me ? Thanks alot.

I using celcom broadband 5GB.. I have a problem with it that my line always over limit within 2 weeks after my line is restart.
the only thing i play is Restaurant City, Pet Society and the common game in Facebook.
US Server online game.
Maybe i will download 2 or 3 songs from web.
Read Manga.

I just wondering will playing PlayFish game in Facebook will "suck" my line usage
or
Playing US server game (since i live in Malaysia)??
or any other problem that cause my data usage over limit~~

Am using a mobile GPRS connection to post this. Anyone in Sri Petaling experiencing a sudden loss of ADSL signal? Everything was ok until about an hour ago. Now my modem ADSL light doesn't even blink.

As you guys know HSBB is going to launch in this few days time.

Just wanted to ask whether I should go for HSBB or Wimax (P1 & Amax).

HSBB RM200 - 15 Mbps to 20 Mbps
Wimax RM288 - RM339 (P1 & Amax) - ONLY 2 Mbps

I'm just thinking that whether Wimax Service Provider will lower their price or increment of speed.

before i migrate to the streamyx uni pack 1mbps, im using streamyx combo 1 mbps which i can get almost max speed (800 - 900kb) for my ppstream but after the streamyx activate me the cool uni pack, now my ppstream not even reach 100kb, I did call to 1300889515 and complaint that before changing the package i get high speed and after changing the speed drop severely but the sxhxi malay female keep saying that "cik, memang kita tak support p2p punya" damn angry! and she say she cant do anything bout it
BTW i think of complaint to cfm or skmm but will they ignore my complaint as this is the p2p issue? for those who had the p2p limit before, beside using vpn and thr proxy, anything else can be done? like call them change my ip to premium ip or anything? pls give advice.. thx..

my gf's home even worse, last time using 1mbps can get 1000 - 1300kb for ppstream but now using 4mbps, not even 100kb also...

[WTA]Does Latency improve if upgrade line?, From 512kb to 1mb line

as of topic,

currently using 512 package Rm66/month..

my latency is dam high... about 220+ms constant to tm net dns... and really hard for me on online gaming especially FPS games. only like at 12am then it got down to 30+ms constant and start going up to 220+ms in the afternoon and evening. i cant always stay up late to enjoy my games and most of my friends are tired by the time i'm able to join them.

so if i upgrade my line to 1mb would it help my latency?

please advice.

I have actually terminated my streamyx account two years ago. However, i got a call just now saying that i have an outstanding amount of RM 500 that needs to be cleared. I went to tmpoint personally to terminate my streamyx account at that time however, I cannot remember if they gave me the bill/receipt of the termination of my streamyx account or not as this have been 2 years only now that they inform me. I remembered that i gave back the phone and signed the document of the termination of my account but then this happen. Is there a way for me to rectify this situation?

I would like to ask about the packages...i was a streamyx user rm77 which i think is 512 kpbs, but they told me is 1mbps..and i change to block buster rm110 package.. i am supposed to have a free wifi modem and a free dect phone..but i only get wifi modem..the reason i dont get dect phone is because i am not upgrading my connection...which is rm77(1mbps) to rm110 (1mbps) also...they tell me this..is this true? or i should just go to tmpoint again and ask for the dect phone?
