Update: Zaid has contacted me with an offer to settle. Will delete this thread once it is all done. From his e-mail he has assumed FULL personal responsibility and does not blame Co-Op Or MyGO. I await his reply on why my e-mails and request for payments were ignored until I started this thread.

This is just a notice to all clans and game hosting providers out there that Zaid Ansari from Co-Op Gaming apparently sponsored by Mygo Solutions Sdn Bhd are unscrupulous people who do not pay their server dues giving all sorts of excuses.

I am not sure what MyGo's involvement is in this but apparently they were the ones who sponsored the server and I had cced them though I did not hear anything from them beyond them giving me proof of payment. It is unclear whether it was Zaid or MyGO that were responsible in paying me.

coop also has remained mum on the issue with no reply.

Granado Espada Roadshow and PvP Tour

- All terms and conditions of IAHGames Passport apply. This tournament is open for the test server only.

- Each match will consist of 2 players - 1 versus 1 match. Players are not allowed to join teams. Players that are found to be in teams will be immediately disqualified from the PvP tournament.

- Players will be given to use a pre-fixed account set by the Game Facilitators. Players will be free to select their own custom MCC team/set of characters from the said account.

- Each player will only be entitled to use the consumables provided by the Game Facilitators.

- Players are to meet at the City of Auch – PvP Officer 10 minutes before the tournament starts.

- There will be an allotment of 10 minutes for preparation and 5 minutes for the match.
Once the 5-minute time is up, it’s hands-off-the-keyboard. Any players found with hands still on the keyboard will be automatically disqualified.

- The player to successfully defeat all characters of the opposing team will be pronounced the winner of that match.

- Winners will secure a placing into the winning brackets of 8 and will subsequently fight their way to the champion placing.

- Warnings will be given for team displaying unsportsmanship behavior or not abiding by the rules and/or listening to the GMs/Marshals. Penalty for disqualifications will be instantly handed out towards teams that receive a total of 3 warnings and/or exploitation of any bugs and intentional disconnections during the match.

- In case of system failures or disconnections, it is importance that you inform the marshals as soon as possible to avoid any possible disqualification. If any players are disconnected before any engagement is made, the match will be restarted. The marshal will be responsible in monitoring the match at all times in cases like this one.

E-Sports Thailand Championship 2009 is an international gaming competition held by Future Gamer Co.Ltd. and Gsquare Channel of True Vision Co.Ltd. The objective of the competition is to raise the level of “Gaming” of Thai gamers to the level of “International E-Sport” status by providing an international standard venue for talented gamers to show their skills. The competition will provide an opportunity for the general public to get to know and understand that “Gaming” can become a serious “Sport”. The competition will help instill discipline, planning, teamwork and sportsmanship in the competitors. Apart from having fun, gamers will return to their region to raise the level of Thai gaming culture. The Government and Private sector will come to understand the importance of E-Sport as more than just “playing game”.

For those who remember, Kingsurf won this event 1 year ago with then new recruit "iceiceice" playing a crucial part in their final match win over Indonesia's Xcn.

Suggestion to Cyber Cafes ^^, New Dota tournament.

Hello everyone, as I am a dota player, i would like to suggest something to cyber cafes something new can be done. Instead of just having team competition for Dota competition, why dont cyber cafe try organize a dota cafe for any walk in single players with no team. mayb they can find their team in the game? Its like the competition is open for all the players who has no team. then the team sentinel and team scourge will be chosen randomly. 5 people will be chosen randomly for sentinel and 5 people will be chosen randomly for team scourge as well. then, winners will be qualified to the next round. which means, after the first round, another random picks of 5 people will be chosen for next round for sentinel and 5 for scourge until final. mayb in the final there are some "feeders" in the team, but if a player is pro enuf to lead his teammate, the game will run smoothly with well planned strategy. im suggesting this because i do not have a team and i often being left out for competition just because im lack of a team

so yea, i hope my suggestion will be taken seriously by any cyber cafe and one day it is going to benefit all the single players
it may not be supported fully by people who have their own teammates, lets organize a competition with 2 categories, one with ready 5 team members and another with 5 unknown and random team member. in the final, the champion of the 5 unknown team will fight against the champion of 5 team members. i hope you guys get wat i mean in this sense

Question:
Assume you have 20 workers, each has 100H health.
Each workers if does 1 time construction job, will consume 0.1H, but provide: (Health / 100)wp. (wp = working point)

Now，each House needs 2000wp to build, Well needs 2500wp, Plantation needs 2500wp and Foods Factory needs 3000wp.
If a worker stay in a House for an hour, his health will auto increase 5H(Max health is 100H).
Each House can stay maximum 16 workers in the same time.

Mission:

。To build at least 1 House

。To build at least 1 Well

。To build at least 1 Plantation

。To build at least 1 Foods Factory

。After finish all buildings, restore all 20 workers health to 100H

How many hours you need to accomplish this mission? Feel free to post your answer and try to compare to others. Good luck!
Example:
- Send 20 workers to work 106 times, consume 10.6H but provide 100wp to build a House. Then 16 workers stay in a house for 3 hours to get back 100H. (means 3 hours is used)

p/s: Working time is instantly one. Mean no need wait, just resting in House need wait 1 hour.

GAME FORMAT:

Game Version: v6.63

Competition Method : 5 vs 5
Game Mode : Captain Mode
Tournament Structure : Single Elimination
Match Winner : The team that completely destroys the opponent’s Ancient or if the opponent Team surrenders

The match will begin with a coin toss and winner of the coin toss will get to choose:

(a) Sentinel/Scourge side of the map or
(b) Draft order (1st/2nd pick)

The side that losses in the coin toss can choose the latter

Substitutions
Two substitution players are allowed for each team. The substitute players are not allowed to play for other teams before/after in the course of the tournament.

Game Play

- Sharing :

i.Sharing of item is allowed as long as the game permits
ii.Gamers not allow to suicide to pass Rapier intentionally
iii.Sharing control is allowed

- Item Limitation:

i.There is no item limitation or restriction whatsoever

- Backdoor:

Backdoor is not allowed

- Hero Limitation:

i.There is no hero limitation or restriction whatsoever

Winning Condition:

i.Completely destroy the tree or the throne of the opponents’ team
ii.Should any team choose to concede/surrender in the midst of the game, an auto win will be awarded to the other respective team
iii.Should any accumulated 3 warnings in the course of the tournament, an auto win will be awarded to the other respective team
iv.Should any unexpected of the game happens, the winner decision will be made by the head marshals of the tournament

General Rules

Setup and Configuration:

I.Teams will be given 5 minutes to warm up before the match starts
II.No non-standard game settings or third party applications that affect game play may be used
III.Teams being caught using either will be punished at the game marshal’s discretion
IV.Replays of each match will be required by every team. In the event of a dispute, the tournament marshal may need to review a particular match replay
V.The result will be finalized if there no disputes 10 minutes after the game has ended
VI.Participants of the tournament should be well-aware of the scheduled time slot of the tournament as teams can claim a default win for the match if the opposing team doesn’t show up for the match 15 minutes after the scheduled time

Personal Equipment:

I.Players are encouraged to bring their own gaming equipment but will be required to provide the drivers on a thumb drive for installation if needed
II. The organizer will not be held responsible for any fault / damage arising to the installation
III.The organizer will not be responsible to provide full equipment to the participants
Disconnections & Save Game Process:

i.Competing teams are advised to save their games as frequently depending on the necessity as the game progresses
ii.Competing teams are advised to save after first blood or after any major battle in the progress of the game under the agreement of both competing teams
iii.Competing teams must bear all responsibility in saving the game throughout the tournament
iv.The game marshal/ organizer will not be responsible should any participating teams fails to obtain a save file should a PC error or crash occurs
v.In the event of any disconnection or technicality errors for the first 10 minutes of the game.
The match will be restarted with MUST pick the same heroes & proceed to same starting lane with default items as before disconnection occurred. On initial creep contact, players may choose to switch lanes.
vi.In the event of any disconnection after 10 minutes of game play. The match will be reloaded from the saved game file.

If there is any technical issues happen in the match, decisions could be varied depending on game time.

10 to 20 mins of gameplay

The side with an advantage of 15 kills and above will be given the options of:
1.Taking default win
2.Continue with the game without the disconnected hero
In the event of no advantage occurs in both teams, the match will be restarted with different hero lineups
20 to 30 mins of gameplay

The side with an advantage of 20 kills and above will be given the options of:
1.Taking default win
2.Continue with the game without the disconnected hero

vii.In the event a save file is lost after 20 minutes of game play. The game marshal holds all power pass verdict on who is the winner of the match depending on :

a)Each hero = 1 kill count
b)Level 1 Tower = 2 kill count
c)Level 2 Tower = 3 kill count
d)Level 3 Tower = 4 kill count
e)Level 4 Tower = 5 kill count
f)Aegis = 1 kill count
g)Barracks = 5 kill count

viii.Respective teammates are NOT ALLOWED to use disconnected heroes and teams will not be allowed to transfer its items to other players. The items left by disconnected hero may not be sold.

Sportsmanship Conduct & Bugs Exploitation:

i.Gamers must report to the respective game zone 10 minutes before the match.
Participants who are late for more than 10 minutes will be disqualified. No dispute or whatsoever will be entertained
ii.Abusive behavior towards the organizer/game marshal/ opponent team will result in a warning. No foul language and abusive/racial behavior will be tolerated in the course of the tournament
iii.An individual is only allowed to play for 1 team ONLY throughout the course of the tournament
iv.Bugs Exploitation:
No Exploitation of any known old or new bug discovered during play. Explanations like "exploiting/activating the bug unknowingly", "we had no idea this bug existed" or similar excuses will not be entertained. Participants are required to update themselves with the latest competing tournament rules

The following rules are subject to modification in the following aspects:-

I.Use of most recent patch/version release of each official game within Cybercafe organizing committee’s own discretion
II.Changes to in-game settings and options necessitated by the use of most recent patch version/release
III.Cheat Protection Program release and/or cheat protection functions
IV.Game settings and/or operations guidelines dictated by differences between online and LAN Tournaments
I.Teams are responsible to check the rules on a regular basis and prior to every match to ensure they are in complete compliance.
Teams must understand that rules listed are guidelines to ensure fair and competitive play and are subject to interpretation by the marshals based on the spirit of the game

There are some changes in our Charity Dota Tournament
After discuss among ourself
We have decided to change abit of the format so as to allow more people to enjoy the tourney to the fullest

Instead of knockouts style
This Charity Dota Tournament will be carried out in group format

We will randomly assign all the teams into groups of four

Each team will have to compete with all the other 3 teams in the same group, with 1 point accumulated by defeating 1 opponent team
The 2 teams from a group that get the highest scores will then proceed to the next round

Elimination will be started once the final top 16 teams are out ~
