Hello, first of all I'm very sorry for taking some of your time. I would like to thank you all in advance for helping me.

I have Sony Vegas 6.0 and I used it to edit a movie.(around 1.40mins long) I only delete a few parts of the movie, but when I render it to .avi, I waited for an hour and the file was 22GB! yes, 22 GB! GB!

I have searched google and some recommend to meddle with the custom settings when rendering the video, but most of the custom also eat alot of space! The one that doesn't eat alot of space have lower quality than my original video.

Original Video stat:
Video: DivX 5 656x268 25.00fps 816Kbps [Video 0]
Audio: MPEG Audio Layer 3 48000Hz stereo 112Kbps [Audio 1]

Hi everyone, I have tried to convert a RM/RMVB file to other file format using WinAVI Video Converter 8.0/9.0 but the output doesn't have sound, already tried many solutions but still couldn't solve the problem, hope someone can help here. Thanks!

my question is is there any software that i can use to trim part of the video and generate back the original quality for that video.i try with blaze media pro and power director,after i trim and generate back,the quality is bad compare to original.example the original 704 X 400 pixels,unfortunately i cant get this setting on the above software.and for the audio part,is like abit loss compare to original

Hi,

Wanna ask is there a portable player (run from usb drive) that supports and able to play all kinds of video files including rmvb files??
Apparently VLC doesn't play rmvb and the computer in my campus does not have a codec pack installed. I wish to watch the rmvb files in my campus.

I had try winavi but it fail when convert mov to dvd because of codez ( I have reinstall those codec still same error, so I give up) .
