Hi to all,
I am trying to locate the agent who is have already sign me up for the streamyx during the handphone fair on 15 Aug 2009. My streamyx installation is like a snail...I want would like to speed up. any one has any idea?

Modem Setting Problem Or Service Problem, 1Mbps but Modem Status alway show 512kb

Dear All expert here,

As per topic mention. Recently I just subscribe a Jaring Flite Wired 1Mbps Broadband.

Since the first day I used until now, My Modem always show below Status :

Download : 512 Kb
Upload : 256 Kb

I discover this because when used it I can feel is not a 1 Mb speed.

So I have question here whether this is my Modem setting that limit to the above speed or is the Broadband Service got problem.

My modem is Aztech DSL 605E

DO NOT EVEN TRY P1.
One day my hand was itchy (back in August) and went on to try out P1, paid RM100, and was told that the tower is less than 300m away from my house and should have very strong signal,so i went on to try, and super poor signal. I don't blame them for that as it might be issue with my area.

Went on to cancel after 2 days and was told to wait for 45 days to get my refund of RM 100. Waited for slightly over 45 days and called P1 and was told i need to wait 45 WORKING DAYS. So i waited and called again after 45 WORKING DAYS in Nov and was told my refund not ready. a guy called Kuzaiman told me he will get my refund deposited to my bank account in 1 week. I called again in a week and spoke to a lady called Nurul and she told me a cheque was banked in for me a day before that. So i am fine, and I told her I didn't see the cheque banked in to my account but I'll wait for few days. After another week, money not in, i called again and spoke to a lady called Julia or Juliet and she told me my cheque has not been banked in. She made another promise to bank in and I requested to speak to a senior management, and she went off and then after 1 or 2 minutes told me there is no manager in office DURING OFFICE HOUR. There is ABSOLUTELY NO ONE that i can speak to, to make a complaint and get a confirmation on when I'll get my money. She went off again few times after I kept pressing that I want someone who can take the responsibility and end up still can't speak to anyone.

I've filed a complain to http://www.nccc.org.my and I hope anyone else with any problem to file a complaint o them too.
I'm looking for an agency where I can file a complain to some kind of telco/broadband service industry, and if anyone knows of any, please let me know.

Taking 45 bloody WORKING DAYS (that's about 3 months) to get a refund is ridiculous enough, and now over 45 WORKING DAYS and still no money refunded.

Don't even TRY P1, you will have difficulty getting your money back.

Am considering Wired BB, steamyx or maxis? which will be better for speed and connection?
I usually surf net or download movie.

Hi guys I'll be staying in LCCT Tune hotel for 3 days. Just wondering which one would be the best choice for me? I've unlocked Huawei HSPA 7.2mbps modem.

*I'm bit confused about the DIGI package as on DIGI website it says "3G for mobile" and minimum "broadband cost is RM 58". Am I allowed to use that 3G connection on my laptop?

Hey i need some suggestions here:

-I have stopped my streamyx connection and have been using P1 Wimax for 8 months plus with "Plus" package.

-Pros about P1:
1)Easy connection
2)Quite stable

-Cons about P1:
1)'Plus' usage 20G not enough
2)When usage is finished speed is reallllllly slooooowww.

-Currently, i heard about Streamyx Wireless and have some inquiries.

1)Do Streamyx Wireless need a 'phone line/fixed line' connected to the modem?

2)Will Streamyx Wireless be unstable in Subang Jaya, USJ?

***3)I'm planning to change to Streamyx Wireless 4mbps package for RM160 any suggestions? Or should i upgrade to P1 Wimax 'Pro' 2.4mbps for RM199?

im a student of a college in banting, selangor. here, thre's only streamyx zone limited around academic n administration building. we students r so frustrated tht we cant reach internet connection in our dormitory. So, many of us resort to maxis n celcom broadband, which are not very economic in terms of data usage n imbalance of connection speed.

im thinking of setting up a wireless broadband for everyone here. I emailed TM company but until now there's no reply. Im hoping that some of u would tell me which broadband plan I should go for. I think i should subscribe the business broadband. which one ? i dunno. do help me, please.
