Speakers with long wiring, is there such a thing?

I was wondering whether is there a speaker out there for sale that has very long wires, approx 40 feet for both side of the speaker. The speakers need not be very powerful or good so long as it could produce decent sound that meets the requirement of long cables, it's fine.

My guess would be to buy a speakers and the audio cables separately but is this possible as I've not heard of audio cables being sold separately.

Please help, thanks.

Laptop Charger Short Circuit, Suddenly have sparks.

Ok, This morning, whilst trying to charge my laptop, as the battery has finish, so I switch on the charger. The power doesn't seems to be on, so I check the connection here & there. Ok, I found the problem, that is I have to hold the connection at the power cable to the charger port. I can't possibly hold the charger the whole time right? So I find ways to get the power moving. I realise that by bending the cable, the power actually flows. Perhaps because my charger whenever I use is always curling around. So I just need to find a place to hold the curving of the charger(bending the cable). I move the charger to a fan's foot(standing fan). Then don't know if because of the bend or the metal fan's foot(which I realise may have cause the sparks), suddenly the sparks came off. I immediately switch off the power.

So my question now is that, assuming is the power cable is burnt, can I just change the cable as like the power cable which we use for desktop? Are they the same? Or do I need to find one that is for a laptop, or for my specific model of laptop? What if the charger cable is burnt, can I claim warranty for the charger? Where can I claim the warranty for my laptop? The laptop is still under warranty. Asus brand.

I'm not sure which cable got burned as I left in a hurry after that, now am outside. Thanks for anyone that helps.

Data Transfer to external HDD, Fails with Vista but ok with XP

Hi guys, i have a generic external HDD casing with a Maxtor HDD inside. I don't think there is any hardware problem, but I am not 100% sure. Whenever I try to transfer data files from my PC to the external HDD using Vista, it will fail after a short while, especially extremely big files. A few hundred MB might still be ok.

I have dual boot in my PC. So when I try with XP, it is ok... no matter how big is the file to transfer, 1GB to 7GB all ok.

Is this a software or hardware issue? How to solve it? Thank you.

xfire 2 cards which requires 4 6-pins connectors, but with a psu which has only 2 6-pins

Hi guys, i just need all your opinions.

I have a coolermaster M620 (620W) which only has 2x 6pins connectors. My rigs at the moment is on a single 4870 (which both my 6pins connectors are already occupied). I'm thinking of crossfiring it with another 4870 sometime in future. however if that's the case, I guess my only option is to use two 4-pin peripheral connectors and convert it into 6pins connectors to make up to 4x 6-pins connectors. have any of u guys done this before? Coz i know corsair HX620 also has 2x 6-pins connectors, and it was used by legitreviews.com in the 4870 crossfire review. So do any of u guys had any experience in this? by the way, the link of the legitreviews is here 4870 xfire review Thanks heaps guys
