i7 Installing too fast?, Error sometimes when installing games

I just bought my i7 860 rig from lowyat and I wanted to install games on it... When I install some games like CS 1.6, source, SDO-X, it comes out with error and I had to reinstall it until it works. Is the i7 too fast to install and decompress thing until the files had errors while extracting?

[WTA] CM690 case fans connections, how to power 7fans setup?

hi, i have a cm690 chassis and is going to install all the fans in the available slots, which will be 7 fans altogether.

1 x front intake 12cm
2 x top exhaust 14cm
1 x rear exhaust 12cm
1 x bottom intake 14cm
1 x side window intake 12cm
1 x other side panel exhaust 8cm

i know some will think/say there's no need for the amount of fans, but let's just say i'd like to fully utilise all of them slots, how should i power them up?
by the looks of it i'm thinking getting 2 x 3pin quad splitter. but my concern is will that affect the fan speed/efficiency by doing so?

also, should they go through mobo(asus p5q deluxe) or psu directly?

please kindly advise, all you gurus..thanks

Razer Megalodon Enquiries, Hop In Megalodon Users~~

Hello Megalodon Users,

I'm thinking of adding Razer Megalodon in my gaming rig. The problem is I have heard NUMEROUS TO COUNTLESS complaints about the headset. Sound cut off ~~ Mic cut off~~. This mostly happens to OS 64bits. And the worst thing is I'm using Windows Ultimate 64bits too. I know the firmware update is available to encounter these problem but some headsets are still not getting fixed. Some even got worse after updating the firmware complaining about the static noise. Too much complaints in google that I need assurances.

1. Any of you guyz are having these problems? If no, pls also state what OS are you operating in. (Well, of course I hope there isn't any as I like Megalodon very much)

2. Razer Megalodon uses USB port to function. That said, I don need a proper sound card?? Just plug in the headset and you can have 7.1 surround sound? Bose Companion 5 marketing gimmick states that you don't need a high-end sound card to experience the surround sound of the speaker so I assume Megalodon doesn't need as well?

PS: I have an internal soundcard SupremeFX X-Fi from my Asus Rampage II Extreme which then thinking of buying Roccat Kave too but I heard the soundcard is crap.

Pls help and advice
