Last night i kena kick from the server immediately after it loaded.. Got this message (below) i took it from the PB folder. But just before that i was playing at the Aus Northern Strike sever.. Anyway does anyone know how to fix this prob?

Can anyone shed some light on whether getting a US VPN service would improve ping times and playability on US BF 2142 servers?
If so, anyone can share a reasonably priced VPN service? I wonder if Witopia is any good as it is 39.99 a year and if that gives more playable servers, it may be worth it.
On the other hand from my limited understanding, the overhead in encrypted packets may actually worsen latency.

is it possible for bf2142 to direct connect to a ip?..cause i live in a uni hostel and it has a huge lan connecting all the blocks...is there anything that will allow me to enter the ip of a particular host and connect to it because i cant detect the game..thx

Since BF3 is coming soon.. i would like to organize the last war for Battlefield 2142, hope u guys can support this event. It more like "friendly, and enjoyable place to come and play Battlefield 2142 without hackers and cheaters!" / "is not a ladder or a league, it is a virtual war, featuring hierarchically structured divisions".

Players without clan also can join it

so this year they wont put any FPS in celgames. seriously , not only that sucked but it shows that they dun care about the battlefield community . why cant they promote the game and actually support it here. (still remember blake saying that battlefield will be in the next round.. but now the new guy thinks otherwise. )

what can we do to turn this around?

After a successful open beta phase of Battlefield 2142 Update 1.50 and tweaks and updates being made based on feedback on the forums we have released the final version of Battlefield 2142 Update 1.50. Servers are being updated and the client files are now available for you to update and get into the new content.

As we mentioned with the Beta release we have added a number of new features and added new content to Update 1.50

FEATURES

- Added community maps, Wake Island 2142 and Operation Shingle

- Added the ability to use widescreen resolutions.

- Added No Vehicles mode.

Hey guys, I've been playing B2142 for more than a year now, used to play a lot when I was still in uni in Australia. Now that I'm back I would like to play with locals since the ping to play in foreign servers is 300+, crazy. Can't fly my gunship for nuts. So what local servers are there, and how to join?

Btw, my soldier is Harb1ng3r, im game to play if you invite me.
