Ok guys next year will be a blast .

no more heroes the game which makes headlines on the wii , will be coming to the xbox 360 and ps3 .. but this one is for the xbox 360 .. what do u guys think .. i wonder what will the controller will be or will they use project natal as controller ..

so far i only know how to check the jasper chipset for arcade and go pro

but how about elite ??is it the same as for arcade ??

I've searched the forum and found several answers..but i need a tad lil confirmation on this..

i have the VGA cable from x360 to PC monitor which has the 2 RCA output jack that splits from it and a 3.5mm RCA(male) to 2 RCA(female) adapter.

the question is, if i connect the 2 RCA output from the vga cable to the adapter(2f to 1m), and connect the output(m) to my pc mobo(Line in), can my speaker play the audio from x360 that has the green jack plugged in the pc mobo (Line in)?

Planning on getting a Wireless X Box 360 Controller but when I called up Gamer's Hideout they said it was roughly RM200 + .

Okay guys,

I recently fixed an Xbox 360 from RRoD which my brother received from his friend (he's 13 years old). The thing is they were leaving and it was broken (RRoD) and so they just gave it to us on the 'if you fix it, you keep it' basis. It's one of the first batches of Xbox 360, in 2006 if I'm not mistaken.

Now I have fixed it, but haven't put it back together.

I was wondering if I can apply the NXE update to this Xbox 360 because I'm not sure if this Xbox is mod-chipped or not. How can you tell? I'm not going to be playing LIVE with this Xbox though, but I would like to keep updated with the dashboard and everything.

So tell me guys, is it safe to apply the update?

Hi all,

My X360 elite 3rodded last week (this is the 2nd unit- they first one was upgraded to this Elite when it 3rodded)- it's about 2+yrs old and since I didn't want to go through the hassle to send it to Singapore (it's unmodded but sending to sg will cost time and money also- with Christmas coming, I'm sure it will take forever to get fixed or replaced by MS) I sent it to a shop to fix it (I believe they changed the GPU)- it costed RM350 and while they were at it they also increased the fan speed! Since they gave 3 month warranty I guess this is sort of an insurance for them to minimize the possibility of over heating. Now my X360 sounds like a friggin lawnmower even when it's switch off and downloading in the background- for me the sound is intolerable.

Does anyone have any experience in this? did the shop changed the fan or just upped the speed of the original fan? anything I can DIY (to revert back to the original speed) without sending it back to the shop?

i juz purchase the ps1 from tis guy.

the item arrive at my hse is 11am and receive by my mom. then she put it on my table. no body touch it.

6.30pm, i back from work. thn i open the box. i notice the seller hvn send me the controler and memory card as agreed b4 payment. thn i use my own ps2 controller to try the console and notice tht the console hv lens problem which totally cnt play the game.

7.00pm, i msg him and ask for refund. hvn reply.

7.04pm, i saw the seller post had been modified. as b4, he said got 3 mth waranty. thn he change to all good sold r not refundable. the modified date and time all been record by lowyat forum as we know.

8.00pm, i pm him again and he reply me. he said no refund as per agreement/ post. thn he argue wth me said i damage the item and try to cheat him. man, i juz open the box less then half hour, hw can i damage the console?? he oso insist tht he alr post me the controller n memory card. damn, am i blind? the whole box was so small n hw can i hvn c the controller which is so big and obvious. call him again and he not answ my phone. then he totally switch off the phone.

then he pm to said even i go to report, i juz can claim the warrantly and not refund. if i insist go to report, then go a head.

Damn.. wht the world is this. i really angry. sure will take legal action against tis guy.

pls aware all ur friend regarding tis guy. the behavior of tis guy suck. even worse then the seller in SG Wang. at least the console they sell still working. not like me, pay more than RM100 to buy a rubbish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi all. I just brought a XBOX and is 1st time. Just to check with those who experience in XBOX, mind to check wat is the good position for XBOX? Stand in vertical? or put at horizontal position? because most i can see at youtube or photo that post in forum is stand at vertical position. wat is the benefit?

Here's the deal:

I can get an Xbox 360 Elite for only £150, which is around rm 850. It's brand new, and sealed, and the Jasper set. But I don't know if it's a good decision, considering that I'll be purchasing it to play only ORI games. I wanna play on XBOX Live. I heard the region lock issues are a lot more restrictive than PS3, both on the DVD locking and the Xbox Live regional locking.

I need advise on this, on the pros and cons of getting one from the UK, and if I should ultimately get it?

1)Will I have issues for XBOX LIVE?

2)Will I have issues playing games

3) Will I have issues finding UK/EUrope region games here in Malaysia?

4) If answer to 1-3 is YES, then would it be worth just modding it and using it as offline play machine?

guys, i just bought a xbox360 elite from USA coz i went there for holiday in Oct... so i got it modded to play backup games... while buying games, only then i realise that not every game is playable coz i get them to pop into the xbox to see if it runs before i pay... which makes me puzzle as the guy who served me are saying that xbox games are different from wii coz wii games states the region outside on the cover, while xbox are not stated. hence i assume that i can only play USA region games..... but anyway, its no big deal.... er.. i try asking the guy what modchip is installed, but he told me they are using softmod, which i assume is using program to mod.... hmm.. so can i enable it to play all region games?

Another thing i wanna know is how do we play movie with rmvb, avi, mkv extenstion on xbox? i plug in my external HDD, but the only files playable are wmv, as for avi, it does show the icon, but not playable, asking me to go to xboxlive.... or something... so guys, if i were to do the update, will it void the ability to play backup games? And if possible, is there anyway we can get those files on DVD coz i dun have internet connection in my home yet...

oh. another thing guys, i try to hook up my laptop running vista to xbox coz i m thinking of transfering some mp3 to the xbox HDD.. but i have no luck with this... how can we transfer files to xbox?

1) I am getting a unmodded elite soon. I plan to play offline for the first few months, since my modem is kinda far away, and I don't plan to get the wireless USB. Question is will my achievement points accumulated carried forward to my gamer tag, once I register my gamer tag few months later when I go online?

2) Which country shall I register? I am getting a SG set. Does it matter?
