Playing PS3 on a Laptop Monitor, Is this possible

Got a question here,

is it possible to play ps3 games on a laptop monitor. Like connect it so that it outputs on the monitor????
Do i need some kind of VGA card?

Blue Screen. HELP, When starting and exiting game.

Hi,

I just bought my 80gb ps3 last monday from Sony Centre mid-valley. The TV im using is Panasonic VIERA TX-37LZ80MK..

Everytime i start a game, the TV screen flickers blue screen (2-3 seconds)and the game starts normally. No problems encountered while playing. And when i quit the game to go back to the ps3 main menu the screen flickers blue screen again (2-3 seconds).. this only happens when i load and quit a game... i have no BLUE-RAY movies so haven't tried in regards to that..

I have set my video settings as automatic as well as tick on all options, 720, 1080i..etc.. however this still happens.. i read about having HDMI handshake issue, is this the same? I'm using the HDMI cable provided by Panasonic, not sure if its CAP ayam or suppose to be good, but i have tried my friends Sony HDMI cable and its still the same.

The HDMI cable is plug to my HDMI 1 input, is there a difference if i plug it to HDMI 1 or HDMI 2?

I'm wondering if anyone have encounter this problem or is this normal where the TV or PS3 adjusts the resolution whenever i start and quit the game?

Other than this, which is annoying at times... everything else runs smoothly ..

[HELP] PS3 & LCD Display, My LCD TV display is flickering!

To all LYN PS Gurus,

I just bought a PS3 (SG set) and connected to my old CRT using composite/SCART (Red, Yellow & White) cable without any problem. Now I'm in Japan using this Hitachi LCD TV (W32-L7000) which doesn't support HDMI but DVI (DV4??) I believe.

However, I tried sticking with my composite cables and now the LCD display is flickering. There's just too much flickering until I can't see a thing even if I want to do any display setting changes.

Do you guys have any solution to this? I've tried reading the forums about this and it seems like i need to get a HDMI -> DVI converter. I just want to get some confirmation before proceeding to buy it.

So, sifu, please advise.

1.)I'm about to buy a new PSP slim, but the shop says its better to buy from him bcoz he will do some kinda settings and I wont need to go for tuning (LCD brightness) every few months. Which he says the tuning is a must for every PSP.
2.)He says that he will give me an original sony battery which will last for 5 hours. Is it true?
3.)I wanted to buy the "RED color" God Of War version PSP. Will there be a recon PSP for that version?

i need help from u all. im using 1mbps streamyx for ps3 online gaming at about 72% wireless strenght. the download speed is damn slow n took me bout 1 hour for 40+mb download time. anyone here know how to increase the speed? anything need to be set in ps3?
