CD Player disc reading error,

I have this old junk Eclipse CD8454 having disc reading error "INFO 3" when playing on some of my normal cd. But i like the sound that produced by this player and plan to send for service and repair. I suspect these error causes by lens dirty or damaged. Ok, my question is where is the place should i send for service and repair ? for those who are able to do these just PM the quote price and i will consider whether it's worth to it or not. Thanks!

ICE Project (Myvi), DiY Rebuild Door Trim

ICE Project - DiY Rebuild Door Trim

Equipment required : Grinder, rotary tools, jigsaw, MDF, fibreglass filler, skills, patience, time & effort

I started all these with some guidance from pic from internet and this is 1 of the project im most proud of!! Because im just 1st time hands on these stuffs...

1st im getting started from my door, to build a gud midbass sound production, the speaker must mount on metal door, u may ask y? I duno, coz pro ICEr said so haha.. so MDF are used to mount on door, im not using normal screw screwing into it, im using Allen key bolt on it

Important - Magnet clearance check b4 speaker mounting, powered down window n see whether window can hit on speaker magnet onot, if yes then MDF thickness has to be increase by few mm..

Speaker mount on door DONE!!

Now the toughest part begins, i cut the door trim by using grinder, then cut 2 x 7" MDF rings by using a jigsaw. These 2 rings are stick together, all MDF i used is only 1cm thick.

Once the rings positioning confirmed, glue it with logtite.

The small gap are filled with fibreglass filler, leave it under a Hawaii hot sun, argggg... that day dam hott...

For those big holes, 2 pieces of custom MDF are used to filled as fit as possible..

The 3rd piece MDF used to cover last big hole

Again use fibreglass to bridge all small holes

DONE!! Sanding required b4 send to paint!!

Singer sings in the toilet sound., After re-do wiring...

Its a long story. To cut it short. Its a kenari. It was fitted previously with a Lightning Audio amp 4 channel bridge rear channel on a soundstream sub 12" , and front & rear pair component running off the other channel. Everything was good. Wiring done by shop.

Then 3 years down the road. Amp got minor problem and my wife been driving the car daily. So ditch the amp, and throw in ayam brand for her since *i think* she also dunno about the different. So i throw in a alpine MRF-12 lookalike china amp, with a cheapo 2 channel amp to whack the sub. Still on the same wiring but i have to add in power cable and ground for the 2 ch amp.

Then it started to have distortion or clipping like that. I read up all the sifu comment here, probably is due to the bad grounding/shared grounding. So, i re-do the whole wiring again today. Took a freaking 3 hours to relocate the amp at the rear and redo the power wiring using a proper 1 to 3 fuse box.

Tired. but I guess worth it. Then sound test and tuning went for hours that I still cant figure out why the singer vocal sound like he is singing in the toilet (door close) and the music is louder then the vocal?

Previously with the distortion (minor clipping) i still can hear the music and vocal in a well balanced manner.

Oh ya, i re-install the 1Farad capacitor also into the system, removed it when my LA amp went haywire.
Also i removed the pre-amp (and sound improved with better midbass and bass).

I cant figure out how or what went wrong until the vocal seems to sound funny/weird.

I was too tired, so i went home, took a shower and eat. I was thinking, could it be due to the capacitor ? Or the wiring again? hmmm......... the lookalike amp perform quite well previously on the old wiring, weird that it sounded different after re-wire the thing......

anyone encounter such problem? could it be the crossover at the component? i tune at the amp, run HPF too harsh, LPF lagi worst no high, run FULL like toilet.
